From materials to packaging, this is an eco product. No trees were harmed in the process. Please note that I only utilize branches that have a particular personality and have fallen from a tree. I will also utilize tree roots from trees uprooted by natural means (weather) or that I find discarded. Branches and roots have passed my strength test (hard wood), but please know that these are organic materials and have a certain degree of fragility. If treated with love and care, they will stay with you a long time 🙂
* If type of wood is not noted:
Many times I will find branches, burl and root pieces scattered away from their tree. If the bark is still attached I may be able to identify it, but not always. Pieces that attract me almost never have leaves attached (another identifier).

SfragaSaga * Mwimbaji Earth Art and Jewelry is made from organic, biodegradable materials and should be treated with care and respect to help insure its longevity.
Storage:
- Store in a cool, dry place. (such as your dresser top or jewelry box.)
- Do not leave for extended time in your car, sunny window, or other hot or sunny place.
- Do not leave your organic jewelry in a place where it may become wet. (such as on your bathroom sink or in the shower.)
Condition wood occasionally, as needed:
- Dust gently with a small, clean, natural fiber cloth with a tight weave (to prevent your piece from getting caught in the weave
- Dip a piece of the cloth in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil or pure jojoba oil, and gently wipe down the wood portion of your piece. Try not to get the oil on stones or crystals (it may dull them)
- After conditioning with oil, wipe gently again with clean portion of cloth
- If jewelry, store your piece in its pouch when it’s not being worn
